The Day When I 1st Meet Her...

Once again, Good Morning!!.. we had a good sleep!!! YAWN!!

Cut things short, breakfast as usual today, juz tat we sat different positions.haha
Tis round, we tried the porridge.. allan had 2 bowls.. i nt very keen in heavy meals
as my tummy isnt adapting well and not easy to source for decent toilets..haa..
but the fact is i am rather full..

So we will be meeting her, Hine, @ 1pm..hope tat we wun be late.. not very nice for
a gal to wait for 3 guys.. lets pray for the best.. b4 meeting her, we would be going
for a FULL BODY MASSAGE, TRADITIONAL KIND one ok.. these ppl are awarded
with certificates.. must be real good..

Bad news was, we went back to hotel.. and we took a short rest which made us kinda
late for the massage.. which means..we be late to meet hine.. sorry hine..din meant it.

Walked ard 10-15mins to reach the massaging shop, pretty ok decoration n simple..
we were the 1st grp of customers.. got a free pyjames to change into..feeling abit
awkward..but have to change into it..so lan lan..change ba..

Nice bed with comfy clothes, in the mood to sleep again..haha..
each of us was assigned with a lady massager.. pretty shiok and itchy @ certains areas.
Allan kept laughing but controlled himself.. i too, haf to control.. arashi enjoying so much..
Out of 3 of us.. only mine used "walking on body" massaging method.. din ask why only
she did such move..i juz that it thatmaybe i am the only strong enuff to withstand such powerful move.. Best moves were twisting ya back and the final swing n twist.. the CRACK CRACK sound..made me feel so SONG!!.. allan was too stiff to enjoy the final swing n twist..
too stress ba..haha.. must relax more ok next time allan.. :P

Guess wat, we were 15mins to 1pm and base on the map, we were pretty far frm the meeting
station..oh well.. TAXI!!!.. offered him 100 bahts but rejected coz was peak hours , he wanna run by meter..ok fine! let see how much he could earn frm us.. traffic was rather jammed.. and taxi nt moving.. few attempts of getting off the cab but we waited.. finally reach JJ market with 80 bahts showing the meters.. hmmm.. was he honest and who dun like to cheat money or did he miscalculate.. ?? hack care, we were late and had to walk to the station.. after calling her a few times to cfm meeting point..we finally met!! i shld say i met her.. coz the allan n arashi walked off somewhere while i waited myself..

She gave me a warm feeling like we had known each other for very long. Can feel tat both of us were pretty happy finally we met.. i oso nv believe i will meet a internet friend frm overseas.. amazing.. made me think of this movie, Europe Trip.. one of my all time fav comedy..haha.. Yeah, here we were, shopping together @ the market..she introduced us some fav thai dishes.. chicken wings tasted good! the minced chicken too.. tats a fried pork oso nice..the famous dish.. err..cannot remember the name but had a small crab in it as decoration..the crab cannot be eaten by the way..juz purely decoration n add in some taste i suppose.. plus a bowl of rice shared among us..

Other than main course.. we tried color flavored ice bar and coconut ice cream with rice n peanut..yummy!! :P

Well, we showed our students' pass, NRIC, driving license to each other..Interesting to see her ID card..coz her photo was taken with a "height measuring" background.. she kept her parents photo in wallet.. a photo with a story behind.. very unique of her..

After makan, we went on window shopping around the market.. mostly wat sell here, sell @ our hotel nearby wholesale area.. so we din really buy much here..managed to some good bargains for shirts and for me, an AND1 shorts.. regret juz buying 1 pair.. sigh...

Ard evening 6pm, shops started closing and we left.. went to Hard Rock Cafe.. pretty standard price there..and i only not much tis round, so i give up in getting shirts frm HRC.. sad!!

Back to hotel, to meet up with allan's colleagues who juz reached bangkok and were staying in same hotel too.. so we linked up n went to Somboon Resturant for a decent chinese food.. Hine helped us in ordering the food.. she got pretty great taste, most dishes she recommended to us, looks simple n yet taste were really good and she treated us all like guests.. thanks Hine!
To thank her for being a good host to us, we 3 paid for her tis meal.. Time flies!!

Before we really say good bye and dunno when i can see her again.. we had a good time chilling @ Kao Shan, as mentioned earlier on.. indeed was like clarke quay , a place full of foreigners and has abit of shopping stalls too.. We withnessed a brawl between 2 ang mohs.. polices came n stop the fight..both of their heads were bleeding badly..oh dear..

Lovers' Noodle..haa.. street hawker noodle.. not bad..juz salty.. end up i have to finish most of it..coz it tasted good..so i scarifice.. haha..

As we walked more, there was break dance performance by a grp of teens..Hine was impressed n interested in seeing such performance.. she said these ppl are known as B Boys and she enjoyed see them doing break dance.. too bad i cannot doo..haha..

Finally settled in a pub, get our asses sat down.. I ordered Black Russian and Long Island for myself as black russian taste horrible.haha.. played a few round of pools then we left the place..sent her home and we went back to our hotel n LIGHTS OFF!!! ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

Tats the end of the last night in Bangkok.. Hine, Thanks for ya companions and we will miss u!! See you around soon too!! hope u be reading tis too..hahat..to show u how bad my " england " is!

Good Morning Bangkok!!!

Good Morning Everyone in Bangkok!!

Allan n Arashi got the main single beds while i slept on the extra bed..

but i still have a good sleep.. feeling refreshing!!
Arashi couldnt get a good rest as coz his body was still in night shift mode..
So he woke up early and have a good bubble bath in the bathtub..haha..

After all of us woke up.. went up to level 76th level for breakfast buffet..
There were Chinese, Western, Halal , Jap food served..

1st stop for the day: Four Face Buddha Temple

Follow by China Town Trip.. gonna get some shark fin and nice chinese food..this plate Fried Rice with Crab got my vote.. coz is tasty and lotsa crab meat.. For a moment, i was in No Hand Resturant, eat without my hand but allan's.. yummy!!

Met a Thai couple ard Chinatown, who intro us to some other places of interest
,like Khao San which sounded like Clarke Quay to me.. hope can find time visit tat place

Anyway, next we headed to Lumphini by the train for the 1st time..
to check out some Thai Boxing event but end up @ Suan Lum Night Bazaar.. bought few pairs of muay thai boxing shorts..

Last station will be the... err.. Patpong.. another night life district.. ok.. was red light district with shopping centres unlike singapore geylang..haa.. it was big eye opening for us..
shld say "culture shock" :D

Finally towards the end of the day, able to contact Hine to fix the time to meet tml..
Glad that we could be meeting and have a free tour guided by her @ JJ market..haha..

Good Night ppl.. home sweet home.. err.. after a supper @ macdonald..

by the way, Bangkok is still rather peaceful and many ppl still shopping freely
without any worry.. hope tis will last longer..

Touch Down.. Bangkok!!

Alright Tiger Airways isnt tat bad.. maybe got many empty seats so each of us got a row of seats to ourselves.. shiok!! haha..most important was we were able to touch down Bangkok Airport. Heard tat this is a new airport and is huge and looks pretty nice.. din have time to explore much.. maybe when we departing tat day can explore more.. anyway back in singapore budget terminal, really simple terminal..and efficient.. maybe not many ppl board the plane.. able to meet the Duty Officer who happens to be my friend..last time gotta call him SIR!.. now..haha.. now call him HJ.. he looks cute in his work uniform..haha..bring orange polo T.. too bad the photo taken with him not with me yet..

So.. out of bangkok airport.. take bus or taxi? recommended by the airport personnel, Taxi will be a better choice.. fast cheaper n no need stuck in crowd.. and is 400 bahts roughly.. oh well, juz take cab...there are lotsa color cabs out there.. pink, yellow green, red, yellow.. brand of cars used by taxi.. mostly is toyota n Lexus..wee..we got in a toyota altis i think.. manage to snap a few sunset shoots along the highway..



Within 30mins we reached Bai Yoke Sky Hotel.. located in a wholesaler area.. which is good.. shopping is juz down the road.. haha.. while checking in, another 1000 baht/night we could upgrade to better rooms @ higher levels..but we dun wan the offer..so we got the 24th level room .. room number 2405.. 3 beds in the room.. pretty spacious.. toilet is big too.. can 2 ppl bath @ the same time and 1 person doing biz.. haha.. coz got a shower and bathtub separated..

While Arashi checking out the toilet.. Allan and I went to explored the higher levels..got a mini musemum , buffet resturant, revolving tower, a nice swimming pool.. (bought along swimming trunk, but dunno got chance to swim or not)

After settling down, we headed to MBK by the TuTu (thailand bike).. thanks to allan's experience in thailand last yr, we were not conned by the TuTu.. offered us 200 bahts..but we bargained till 60 bahts.. which is SGD $3.. The ride was terrified n yet exciting.. for tat price, was quite worthy.haha.. although not as power as the james bond commerical.. the way he twist n turn on the busy traffic.. OMG!!! haha..

Our 1st meal was in a Japanese Resturant.. standard is as good as SGP but water isnt free!! haha.. one thing tat is good abt SGP, has clean n drinkable water , even frm tap. :D

Then we headed to higher level to check out the shops and cinema..the cinema pretty well designed and looks like GV..And there are more eating outlets @ that level. There is also a bowling centre there, so we decided to play bowling there and none of us did well there.. not home court tats why..haaa.. beside our lane has a japanese couple with a kid.. the mum looked pretty young n pretty, tats why we din play well.. i mean they two din play well coz of her.. haha.. the shops selling clothes have many varieties and prices are ard 100 bahts ( $5 SGD) , cheaper than singapore pasar malam..haha.. no wonder ppl import clothes frm thailand to sell in sgp.. maybe can look into tis biz.. anyone interested?? can share the investment..

Ended our trip to MBK with a plate of ice creams *looks like Swesen's Earthquake* .. really shiok!!

Tats the end our day 1.. Go back bath, plan for next day and zzzzzzzzzz....

Oh ya, my roaming isnt working! shitz.. cannot contact Hine... gotta call singtel next day!

OPs Mambo IV - Mission Begins..

today is the beginning of the OPs.. Jus the 3 of us.. Allan Arashi Stevie.. lasting 4 days 3 nights.. with 500 SGD each.. which is like 11K Thai Baht.. and with almost a empty bag carried by each of us.. haha.. only bought some personal stuff, cameras, handphone and myself..

OPs Mambo IV - D-1 Day

Tomorrow, 4th Jan 2007..Finally another holiday trip for me.. been waiting for so long.. missed a few thailand trips with other friends due to work and wrong timing.. this time wasnt wrong for me.. but something happened on New Year Eve in Thailand. Bombing incident once again occured and somehow did affected me. The unknown danger that i may involved during my trip. Thanks to family and friends who have advised me not to go and postponed this trip. Sorry, but i have to go and i will be alert and take care of myself there. After all, tis 2 friends of mine going with and myself were soldiers once..haha.. God will watch over us..

Intro abit of my 2 travelling mates.. Allan and Arashi.. both are my BTM buddies.. one become O-C-Fer , one become Professional Driver cum Supervisor while i become "Eyes and Ears" of SAF.. We were zero fighters .. wrong.. expect Arashi.. he can do many pull ups.. haha..
Below is pic of us @ a dinner after BTM graduation.. seems like i changed alot.. thanks to good life in the army during the last year of service.. :D

Other than holiday, i do hope can use this chance to meet my email pal from thailand too..her name is Hine.. been exchanging emails for nearly half a year.. hope everything will be smooth and get to meet her..

Alright.. Continue again next day.. today finally hand over back my work back to my dear senior operator.. lucky everything is fine in that machine.. hope he wont find any faults..haha..
